Pumpkin Spice Syrup- Refined Sugar Free

I’m so excited for pumpkin right now, and I just bought like an 8 lb pumpkin that I have already roasted and will be using to spread fall joy everywhere I go! First up, I decided it’s been too long since I’ve had a PSL, and since I don’t live in England, that shit is not vegan! The good news is that this version is vegan and it’s also refined sugar free. Pumpkin Spice Latte away with this guilt free option!

Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Ingredients:

½ cup pumpkin puree

1 cup water

½ cup + 2 tbsp maple syrup

2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Pinch of salt

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk together to break up pieces of pumpkin. Bring to a simmer, and cook for a few minutes until your sauce begins to thicken, Think of this as a sweet pumpkin gravy!

Remove from heat, and pour the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a glass jar. Let it cool and pour it all over everything. Your latte, your pancakes, Pomeranians, your lover. Everyone will love you for it. You’re welcome.

The syrup can be stored in the fridge for about a week.
