Cranberry Chia Jam

I love a good jam, and tis the season for everything cranberry! This holiday treat is made with chia seeds which are high in omegas, and cranberries which are high in vitamin C, plus super delicious. This makes the perfect accompaniment for any holiday spread (pun intended)!

Cranberry Chia Jam

Ingredients:

3 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen

2 tbsps maple syrup

3 tbsps chia seeds

½ tsp cinnamon

Directions:

Place the cranberries in a food processor and pulse a few times. You want them chopped, not pureed.

Add the cranberries to a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook the cranberries until the cranberries have all burst, or about 15 minutes.

Stir in the maple syrup, chia seeds, and cinnamon, and transfer to a jar. Cool to room temperature and then serve.
