Why not spice up that chickpea salad with some buffalo sauce? Our spicy buffalo chickpea salad is super easy to make and will impress all of your friends serving up basic hot dogs at any cookout! This is how we made it:
Spicy Buffalo Chickpea Salad
Ingredients:
1- 15 oz can chickpeas
¼ cup oil-free mayonnaise
¼ cup buffalo sauce
½ tsp dry dill
⅛ tsp cayenne
¼ tsp salt
Pepper to taste
¼ red onion finely diced
1 stalk of celery finely diced
Directions:
Place the chickpeas, mayo, buffalo sauce, dill, cayenne, salt, and pepper into a food processor. Pulse a few times until the chickpeas are broken up but not long enough for them to turn to mush.
Transfer to a small bowl, and add diced onion and celery. Serve on a cornbread waffle, or on your favorite gluten free bread.
