Is there a better summer flavor than orange cream? And what if that orange cream was vegan, refined sugar free, and loaded with protein and fiber? No one will ever guess there are beans in this smoothie! It’s the perfect whole food plant based summer breakfast, or pre or post workout snack. This is how we made it:
Orange Cream Protein Smoothie
Ingredients:
¼ cup cooked white beans, drained and rinsed
¼ cup gluten free oats
¾ cup plant based milk
1 banana (fresh or frozen)
2 pitted dates
1 whole orange
1 tbsp hemp seeds (optional)
¼ cup ice (optional)
Directions:
In a high powered blender, add all of the ingredients. Blend until smooth.
