Habanero Mango Jam with Chia

It’s spicy. It’s sweet. It kind of looks like Halloween! It’s also refined sugar free and so easy to make! Make a big batch and give it away to friends. Everyone will think you’re so crafty and spent so much time making the world’s best jam! This is how we made it:

Habanero Mango Jam with Chia

Ingredients:

2 cups (about one large mango) mango, peeled and chopped

1 habanero pepper, seeded and chopped

2 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp maple syrup

Directions:

Place the mango and habanero in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Add the mango mix to a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook the mango until it begins to bubble or about 5 minutes.

Stir in the chia seeds and maple syrup and transfer to a jar. Cool to room temperature and then serve.
